Melike Ebit, BA in Communication & Public Relations from the National University of
Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest, Romania and MSc in European
Studies from Aalborg University, Denmark, has experience in working as a PR assistant and
volunteering, with the main focus of collaborating with organisations that aim for social and
economic development and life improvement.
Her focus is to address a very important topic nowadays – the women’s leadership gap and
its causes. This article benefitted from a valuable collaboration with powerful and successful
women who have shared their stories and experience, giving a significant insight and an
original touch to it.

A passionate advocate for women, she champions strengthening capacity and finding solutions that
consider the socialÂeconomic aspects of the community that drive social change in developing and
emerging markets through enterprise development. She has a MSc in Business Technology (Operations
and Innovation Management) and has worked on projects with Nations GmbH, ROCKWOOL International
A/S, Supply Chain Initiative, Lefoe Austria, Ministry of Social Services, Center for Human Trafficking,
Community Action for Nature Conservation and The Humanitarian Water and Food Awards.
Kristina Pocaite
She holds a Master degree in Economics and Business Administration from Roskilde University and
is obsessed about innovation, startÂups and business development. She is experienced in content
marketing and loves to release her creativity using words.
